We are currently assisting our client, a world leader in their industry, with a Senior Buyer search near Cleveland, OH. This person will be responsible for procurement planning and negotiations for the company. Qualified candidates will have a strong understanding of these commodity market costs and trends, have developed commodity cost savings initiatives, and have been involved in plant sourcing decisions or negotiations.


Responsibilities:

  • Developing plant Total Cost Optimization initiatives
  • Analyze markets to understand cost trends and market changes
  • Responsible for providing and sharing expert level global category knowledge
  • Standardize expectations of suppliers to maximize output and leverage company buying power


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Must have manufacturing procurement planning experience
  • Must have 2+ years experience in purchasing
