Its design incorporates extensive research into best practices in building and workplace design through extensive benchmarking of the world's top academic, research, and corporate facilities.What Role You Will Play in Our TeamOversees the continuous enhancement of critical global S&OP and S&OE processes, with a focus on driving implementation of LEAN inventory management principles across the Supply Chain organization. This role acts as an S&OP subject matter expert, offering strategic guidance, training, and tool support to ensure uniform application of industry best practices across various chemicals business lines, while developing S&OP competency. As the LEAN advisor, the position will lead workshops, define focus areas and coach practitioners to implement and sustain lean strategies. The advisor spearheads cross-functional initiatives to bolster supply chain efficiency, supports significant growth projects, and ensures the effective execution of S&OP processes. Additionally, this role serves as a key liaison between supply chain functions, IT, and business stakeholders to align tools and processes with overarching enterprise goals.What You Will DoLEAN Advisor/Coach:Actively drive implementation of Lean, including coaching lean practitioners and leadership, facilitating lean workshops, driving execution across organizationManage, track and steward value capture of LEAN initiativesS&OP/S&OE Process Advisor:Serve as Subject Matter Expert, support and enhance S&OP / S&OE end-to-end processes and tools, driving best practice implementation and sustainmentDefine, prioritize and lead system/tool enhancementsDeliver training and continuous improvement support for S&OP processes and tools to develop and sustain S&OP competency across a global user baseMonitor process health and key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive effectiveness and continuous improvement on processes and performanceWork with IT and Digital teams to design & deploy Advanced Planning SystemsAbout YouSkills and Qualifications:15+ years relevant work experience in supply chain Oil & Gas Industry and/or Petro-Chemicals IndustryStrong understanding of Sales and Operations Planning/Execution (S&OP/S&OE)Experience in developing and/or executing S&OP/S&OE processes and KPIsExpertise in Supply Chain IT technology (e.g., Kinaxis, Aera, SAP APO/IBP) and understanding of supply chain capabilityStrong collaborator and leadership in coaching and trainingLEAN certification and experience with implementing/practicing LEAN inventory strategiesBachelor's degree in Engineering or Supply Chain ManagementStrong background in executing S&OP processesLEAN Six Sigma certificationExperience in process development, execution, and process health monitoringPreferred Qualifications/Experience:Coach, mentor, and ability to motivate both within and outside the functionWork effectively with diverse cultures and backgroundsDemonstrate initiative, strong analytical/problem-solving skills, and effective planning and prioritization of activitiesEffective team player, interacting well with internal personnel, external third parties, and ExxonMobil affiliates worldwideCreate clarity, particularly regarding the case for change, and exhibit effective change management and advocacy skillsShow strong leadership and collaboration skills, with ability to communicate clearly and interface with senior management, especially when presenting changeMaintain a continuous improvement mindsetExtensive experience in managing and optimizing supply chain processes, particularly within the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) frameworkProven track record in implementing and managing successful LEAN strategiesExperience leading cross-functional initiatives to enhance supply chain resilience and support major growth/transformational projectsExcellent communication and leadership skills, particularly in driving change and aligning teams with strategic goalsYour BenefitsAn ExxonMobil career is one designed to last.
