Manager is responsible for the operational function(s) of assigned work group(s) in a Supply Chain Logistics operation. This role provides direct supervision of Supply Chain Ops Supervisors, SNE and other hourly employees, ensuring compliance with company policies and maintaining customer service and accurate records. Key Responsibilities Communicate daily/shift goals, devise and implement operational plans, motivate employees, and update management of progress. Provide leadership for Supervisors, SNE and hourly employees through training, communication, coaching, and example. Identify and resolve operational issues, implementing continuous improvement and LEAN initiatives. Hire, train and supervise exempt and/or hourly employees. Support development of system and process training; track time, attendance and performance feedback. Enforce location safety management plans, training and processes. Assign employees to tasks and ensure required tools are available. Perform additional duties as assigned. Skills and Abilities Strong verbal and written communication skills. Organizational, follow?up, computer, and analytical skills. Self?directed work style with minimal supervision. Ability to manage individual performance, employee relations, and prioritize work. Team collaboration and relationship building across all levels. Multi?tasking, time?management, and detail orientation. Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) (intermediate preferred). Experience with Material Handling Equipment (MHE) and OSHA compliance (intermediate required). Capability with DOT and Hazmat knowledge (intermediate preferred). Basic exposure to Lean principles, systems, and tools. Qualifications High School diploma or GED required; bachelors degree preferred in logistics, supply chain, or related field. Minimum two (2) years in logistics, warehouse, or industry?related field required. Minimum two (2) years of supervisory experience required. Three (3) years of problem?solving experience and proficiency with Root Cause Countermeasure Systems preferred. Intermediate experience with WMS, MHE, OSHA, DOT, Hazmat, and Computer skills.
