Overview:

Senior Supply Chain Consultants at John Galt Solutions apply real-world planning knowledge to a variety of businesses across different industries as they lead design sessions and implementation efforts on large and complex projects.


Primary Duties:

  • Work with customers to successfully configure the ATLAS Platform products to meet customer needs.
  • Build and maintain a deep knowledge of Atlas functionality and configuration.
  • Ability to design and configure Atlas to meet complex customer requirements with little supervision.
  • Lead process mapping and discovery on large to complex projects.
  • Lead data design/data mapping meetings on large to complex projects.
  • Lead training sessions and ensure effective knowledge transfer to customers.
  • Configure Atlas and document design to achieve customer’s objectives.
  • Lead system design and configuration on large to complex projects.
  • Capable of building effective agendas for customer meetings (e.g. Design, Sprint, UAT, Training sessions, etc.) for both remote and on-site customer interactions.
  • Deeply understand customer requirements and challenge customer when appropriate to achieve the optimal outcome for the customer.
  • Rapidly and continuously develop ATLAS configuration skills to meet complex customer requirements.
  • Ability to thoroughly test ATLAS configuration with little supervision prior to Customer review.
  • Identify and report bugs to QA team for review
  • Ability to discern, identify and report risks and concerns to project management when needed.
  • Provide accurate weekly estimates of current workload.
  • Excellent time management. Identify and track necessary configuration tasks, prioritize, complete tasks by due date to ensure hitting project timelines across multiple projects at different stages.
  • Ability to use resources effectively: knows when to reach out for help and able to effectively communicate the need.
  • Ready to teach and mentor less experienced consultants with a positive professional attitude at any time.
  • Understand the roles and responsibilities of each role involved in the implementation process.
  • Travel 20%


REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree required in supply chain management, industrial engineering, process engineering, or a related field.
  • 8 to 15 years of experience in Demand and/or Supply Planning as a planner or consultant.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to interact effectively with customer resources at all organizational levels.
  • Experience building slide decks that clearly and concisely communicate complex concepts.
  • Experience implementing supply chain planning applications as an implementation consultant. Experience using and/or implementing Atlas preferred.
  • Ability to consistently achieve billing targets at 40 hours per week.
  • Subject Matter Expert (SME) with extensive knowledge in one or more of the following areas: Demand Planning, Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP), Inventory Management, Rough Cut Capacity Planning, or Production Planning.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills.
  • Expert knowledge of Excel and use of planning tools.
  • Working knowledge of SQL Server
