Join our dedicated team in the Neurosciences & Epilepsy Monitoring Unit. We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Clinical Nurse III to contribute to the care and support of patients with neurological disorders. Department/Unit: Neurosciences & Epilepsy Monitoring Unit (EMU) - D5N Work Shift: Day (United States of America) Salary Range: $88,192.00 - $136,697.60 The Clinical Nurse will play a vital role in creating a caring environment for patients, families, and colleagues. You will work in a 21-bed neurosciences unit that includes an Epilepsy Monitoring Unit, caring for patients with conditions such as strokes, brain tumors, and seizures. The ideal candidate will demonstrate kindness and active listening in every interaction. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Implement physician orders and administer medications while following company policy and regulations. Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to assess patient conditions. Assess and evaluate patient needs and responses to care. Utilize sound nursing judgment in patient care decisions. Provide primary and emergency care for various injuries and illnesses. Administer medications as ordered and collaborate with the nursing team to create a comprehensive Plan of Care for patients. Direct and guide ancillary personnel, maintaining high standards of professional nursing. Minimum Qualifications: Graduate of a professional academic nursing program (Diploma, Associate Degree, or Baccalaureate Degree). Current NYS Registered Nurse license. Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS). 1-3 years of clinical RN experience required, including at least 1 year of Telemetry or ICU experience.
