Join our dynamic Emergency Department team as a Clinical Nurse II, where you'll play a crucial role in delivering high-quality patient care to a diverse population. Our facility is a Level I Trauma Center, and we are looking for dedicated nurses to provide compassionate care during critical moments. Position Overview: In this role, you'll assess, coordinate, and manage patient care from the moment of admission through discharge. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure that excellent care is consistently delivered to all patients and their families. Key Responsibilities: Implement physician orders and administer medications, IVs, and treatments according to protocols. Evaluate and interpret diagnostic tests to identify patient conditions. Assess patient needs and respond effectively to care rendered. Provide emergency care for various injuries and illnesses. Collaborate with nursing staff to develop individualized Plans of Care. Guide and direct ancillary personnel while maintaining professional nursing standards. Minimum Qualifications: Graduate from an accredited nursing program with a Diploma, Associate Degree, or Baccalaureate Degree. Current NYS Registered Nurse license. Certification in BLS/ACLS/PALS/TNCC is required. 1-3 years of clinical nursing experience in an Emergency Department, preferably in a large academic, Level I Trauma Center. The Emergency Department operates 24/7, accommodating a wide range of patients in 45 rooms, including specialized areas for trauma, pediatrics, and acute care.
