Job Duties:

  • Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and supervise individual care in a patient care area;

  • Provide individualized patient care based upon appropriate and developmental needs;

  • Collaborate with physicians, patient/families, and members of the health care team in delivering a plan of care;

  • Utilize positive communication skills;

  • Evaluate and update patients' response to the plan of care;

  • Initiate, manage, and participate in discharge planning and patient/family teaching;

  • Work on various nursing units;

  • Facilitate physiological, psychosocial, and spiritual care of the patients;

  • Contribute to cost effective patient care by monitoring use of time, equipment, and supplies.

Required Minimum Position Qualifications: Associate’s Degree in Nursing

Position also requires demonstrated experience in the following:           

  • U.S. state nursing license or be eligible to obtain state nursing license.
