Responsibilities

  • Data Analytics and report writing using database connections.
  • Maintain the general ledgers and prepare monthly financial reports.
  • Responsible for monthly reporting data upload to parent company.
  • Prepare and analyze general ledger account reconciliations.
  • Cash Forecast
  • Assist in the design and preparation of budgets for review by management
  • Assessing internal controls, including risk assessments and reviews of risk areas (annual self-assessments)
  • Approves standard cost and cost model changes to bill of materials.
  • Maintain and reconcile fixed assets schedules.
  • Assist with annual audit preparations.
  • Review of budget to actual spending variances
  • Contribute to the development of new or amended accounting systems, programs, and procedures.
  • Assist in preparing for federal, state, local, and special tax returns.
  • Assist in the preparation and review of Payroll.
  • Audit physical inventory processes.
  • Prepares reports required by regulatory agencies.
  • Applies knowledge of current developments in accounting theory and practices.
  • Travel may be required to other facilities.
  • Other duties may be assigned.


Education

  • Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year College or University in Accounting and preferred minor in IT related field; and minimum 5+ years related experience.
  • Working knowledge of tax laws and GAAP.
  • Strong financial analysis skills.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong organizational and stress management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly with Excel.
  • Ability to train and manage staff.
  • Ability to work with little to no supervision
  • Ability to perform tasks and work effectively in a team environment
