Bluestone Investment Partners, a private equity firm in the Washington-Metro area, is seeking an experienced, full-time Administrative Assistant / Office Manager to join our team. Bluestone focuses on investing in middle-market defense and government technology companies and our senior investment professionals have decades of experience acquiring, operating, and selling companies in the sector.
The Administrative Assistant / Office Manager will provide administrative support to the Partners and other members of the operations team.
Responsibilities:
- Answer and direct phone calls and communicate appropriate information to callers trying to contact a member of the team who may be unavailable or out of the office
- Organize and schedule meetings/conference calls and arrange location/call details
- Manage domestic travel arrangements, including transportation and accommodations, as well as preparing detailed itineraries and coordinating materials
- Order office supplies and manage vendors
- Create copies and scans, as well as print and bind presentations
- Maintain contact lists
- Support planning and logistics related to firm events
- Provide general support to visitors and setup for meetings as needed
- Assist with technology as needed
Requirements and Skills:
- 3+ years of proven experience as an Administrative Assistant or Office Manager
- Experience working in the financial industry or professional services is preferred
- Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
- Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
- Self-starter with excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
- Detail-oriented and problem solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
- Familiarity with office technology and equipment, including Wi-Fi networks, computers, scanners, printers, phone systems, etc.
- Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. and will not require now, or in the future, visa sponsorship
