Senior Manager, Strategy

Position Overview:
Reporting to Executive Director, Business Development & Licensing, this position will play a crucial role as a key partner within the Business Development team and the senior management team. This position involves developing tactical and strategic execution to achieve department goals. The role includes overseeing the team's engagement in evaluating investment, partnership opportunities and other business development activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- business development opportunities such as product/portfolio acquisitions and/or in/out-licensing related to innovative medicines, partnerships, collaborations and acquisitions of businesses in the pharma industry with focus on oncology but not only limited to these areas;
- in-depth analysis of biotech companies' assets, including drug pipelines, technology platforms, IP and etc. Evaluate these assets for their scientific validity, market potential.
- and assess investment opportunities by analyzing market trends, financial reports, and pipeline market potential of biotech companies. Support the complex financial models to evaluate potential acquisition targets and/or in-licensing opportunities;
- relevant BD targets via meetings with external companies, visit conferences and use industry databases;
- with internal teams, external partners, and stakeholders to align business development strategies. Present analytical findings and strategic recommendations to senior management.
