Summary: Our award-winning client is seeking a Tax Associate to join their team. We are a well-established New York CPA firm seeking a motivated Tax Associate to join our growing Tax Practice. In this role, you'll play a vital role in supporting our clients by preparing accurate and timely tax returns, while collaborating with a supportive team. This is an opportunity to join a team with the most successful tax and audit professionals in the industry. Responsibilities: Prepare and review a variety of tax returns, including corporate, partnership, estate, and individual filings. Assist clients with tax planning strategies to minimize their tax burden. Conduct thorough tax research to ensure compliance with current regulations. Prepare multistate income allocations for businesses and individuals. Collaborate with colleagues to ensure efficient project completion. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting (CPA a plus). 2+ years of experience in tax preparation for businesses or individuals. Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking skills. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and computer skills (proficiency in Excel a plus). Experience with tax preparation software. Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
