Position Summary: The IT Technician will play a crucial role in providing technical support and assistance to end-users. Responsibilities:

  1. Provide advanced technical support and issue resolution for end-users, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal system performance.
  2. Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network-related problems promptly and efficiently.
  3. Collaborate with other IT professionals to implement and maintain IT infrastructure, ensuring a secure and reliable computing environment.
  4. Assist in the planning, implementation, and maintenance of IT projects, such as system upgrades, migrations, and deployments.
  5. Create and maintain documentation related to IT processes, procedures, and issue resolutions.
  6. Conduct training sessions for end-users on IT best practices and usage of various technologies.
  7. Collaborate with vendors and third-party service providers to resolve complex technical issues.
  8. Stay informed about the latest developments in technology and proactively recommend solutions to enhance the IT environment.


Qualifications:

  1. Minimum of 2 years of experience in a help desk or technical support role
  2. Proficient in supporting Microsoft Office, Microsoft 365, and Windows-based technologies
  3. Solid knowledge of advanced printer/peripheral device trouble shooting
  4. Knowledge of networking and systems concepts and protocols is preferred
  5. Experience with troubleshooting hardware, software, and peripheral devices
  6. Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP), or similar are highly desirable.
