Work Hours:
Monday to Friday, 9 AM - 6 PM (CST)
Key Responsibilities:
As a Pharmacy Technician, your primary duties will include:
1. Dispensing medications accurately and efficiently.
2. Utilizing pharmacy barcode scanning technology for labeling and packaging prescription containers.
3. Conducting cycle counts at the end of each month.
4. Assisting the Inventory Team as required.
5. Supporting the packing and shipping processes as needed.
6. Performing additional tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Must possess a Registered Technician Trainee license or Registered Pharmacy Technician certification from the Texas State Board of Pharmacy.
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.
- Flexibility in scheduling to accommodate business needs is essential.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and work well in a collaborative environment.
- Capability to transport medication carts and deliver to designated areas.
Skills Required:
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications.
Certifications/Degree Requirements:
- Board of Pharmacy certification.
- Registered Technician Trainee license or Registered Pharmacy Technician certification preferred.
Compensation and Benefits:
Pay Range:
$18 - $19 per hour, based on qualifications and experience.
