Quality Control Technician - Permanent - Indianapolis, IN
Proclinical is seeking a Quality Control Technician for a contract role in Indianapolis, IN.
Primary Responsibilities:
This position focuses on performing repetitive testing and inspection of products using validated software, ensuring conformance to acceptance specifications, and supporting customer complaint evaluations and event reporting obligations. The role involves routine and non-routine tasks, requiring specialized knowledge and training.
Skills & Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalency.
- Specialized or advanced training in science, electronics, or a related field.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
- Basic computer skills with competency using standard software packages (Word, Excel, Google Sheets).
- Thorough understanding of appropriate safety procedures.
Preferred Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a technical or scientific field or equivalent experience.
- Experience working in a laboratory environment.
- Experience working in a regulatory environment.
- Experience with process improvement.
- Technical or scientific experience.
The Quality Control Technician's responsibilities will be:
- Perform analyses of finished products to determine conformance to accepted specifications.
- Conduct product verifications to ensure products are qualified for production use.
- Execute test stand preventative maintenance procedures to ensure proper operations.
- Conduct investigational testing of production and pilot material as needed.
- Perform stability testing to monitor product claims relative to product shelf life.
