Join us as we digitally connect the world and shape the future.The role as part of Lumen's Finance Modernization and Simplification (M&S) initiative, the Senior Manager of Finance Transition & AI Enablement will lead the end-to-end transition of key finance functions from the U.S. to our shared services hub in India. This highly visible role will work closely with Finance leadership, Global Process Owners (GPOs), and the AI Finance Pod to document processes, enable automation, and ensure a seamless transition. The Senior Manager will play a pivotal role in embedding digital and AI capabilities into future-state processes.The ideal candidate will lead with a growth mindset, embracing ambiguity and championing innovation through AI, automation, and emerging technologies, while inspiring teams to adapt and thrive in a rapidly evolving digital finance landscape.This is a remote position open to candidates based anywhere in the U.S., with a preference for those based in the Denver, CO metro area. International travel will be required for this position (20-30% expected).The Main ResponsibilitiesTransition & Operational LeadershipTransformation & Digital EnablementGovernance, Controls, and CompliancePeople LeadershipStakeholder PartnershipKey DeliverablesSuccessful transition of U.S. finance functions to India with no operational disruption.Integration of AI-enabled workflows pre-transition.Improved process efficiency and accuracy metrics.Documented process maps and standardized SOPs.Measurable post-transition productivity improvements.What We Look For In A CandidateRequired:1012+ years of progressive experience in finance transformation, shared services, or global business services (GBS).Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.Proven track record in leading large-scale transitions of finance functions, including offshoring and process migration to strategic locations across geographies.Hands-on experience with ERP platforms (SAP, Oracle, Workday or comparable) and finance automation tools.Demonstrated expertise in AI enablement and automation integration within finance workflows.Experience managing cross-functional teams and driving change in a matrixed global organization, with proven ability to coach, mentor, and inspire teams through transformation cycles.Strong familiarity and understanding of SOX compliance, GAAP standards, and internal control frameworks.Willing and able to travel internationally (including to India).Preferred:MBA or equivalent advanced degree or professional certifications.Prior work in or with global accounting firms or technology companies.Familiarity with Salesforce, Palantir, AWS, or Microsoft platforms is a plus.Exposure to automation, AI-driven finance solutions, and digital enablement initiatives.Deep knowledge of audit readiness, control testing, and regulatory adherence.Compensation: This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location.
