Job Title: Purchasing Associate

Location: Maplewood, Minnesota | hybrid

Duration: 6 months

Pay: $18 - $21 per hour | W2 + benefits


Seeking a Sourcing Associate to oversee organization of sample distribution internationally, as well as other lab and logistical tasks. The employee will work with the product development team to assemble, execute, and track sample shipments globally in line with a pre-determined plan. This work will be a mixture of computer-based entry and tracking, frequent global cross-functional communication, and hands-on organization.


Primary responsibilities include:

  • Use internal systems to make purchases, requests, and shipments
  • Communicate with product developers to understand plan to be carried out
  • Communicate extensively with internal and external partners, locally and globally, to ensure timely completion of deliverables
  • Provide regular updates on status and elevate issues


Basic Qualifications

  • Associates degree or higher
  • Technological proficiency – data entry


Preferred Qualifications

  • B.S., Engineering/Science, Supply Chain, or similar majors
  • Previous shipping or data entry experience
  • Prior experience with regulatory documentation
  • Prior experience with completion of official documentation
  • Prior experience with SAP or Microsoft PowerApps
  • Familiarity with coated abrasives (sanding discs, fiber discs, etc.)


Soft Skills

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to details
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Positive and persistent attitude
