Greenhouse is a pioneering effort in long term care bringing control back to the elders that live in the houses by honoring their lifelong routines and preferences. In addition to the culture change in care delivery there is also a relationship shift between nurses and the C.N.A's that manage the individual houses.As a member of our caring, compassionate health care professionals you'll enjoy:Salary positionFlexibility with schedulingTuition assistanceGreat co-workers and leaders that support their staff and their needsExtensive training for all nurses that work at Eddy Village Green to ensure they will be successfulUnique facility model, being the largest in the nation and only a few within the Northeast to adapt this model of careShadow experiences for those interested in getting additional insight on this rewarding opportunityThe selected candidate would be expected/but not limited to:Manage the clinical care of 48 elders on the 192 bed campusManage care plans and work closely with MDS, interdisciplinary team, medical staff and consultantsAct as a liaison between family members and facility and would be expected to participate in quality initiativesFacilitate collegial relationships in the interdisciplinary teamsAssume responsibility for the management of fiscal and material resourcesDemonstrate the organization's commitment to sound ethical business practices as directed by the Corporate Compliance Office and approved by the Board of Trustees.Accountability for the human resource and outcome management for designated resident populationsMinimum Requirements:Valid NYS RN licenseAssociate's degree in nursing5+ yrs of experience as a RN1+ yrs in a leadership role as a RNPreferred Requirements:3+ yrs of experience in a long term care facility1+ yr of experience with financial managementMDS experienceBachelor's degree in nursingHighest level of customer service while completing day to day duties and responsibilities, strong conflict mediation skills, excellent communication in a fast pace work environment across teams on different shifts and different departments, highest level of engagement within a team setting to promote a positive work environment.Pay Range: $98,800.00 - $133,016.00 Pay is based on experience, skills, and education.
