Connect with a career that matters, and help us build a safer future.Job DescriptionThe Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for but not limited to the following:Ability to develop and execute on winning strategySchedule and lead customer meetingsUncovering additional sales opportunities within existing accounts for all offeringsIdentifying and overcoming roadblocks and/or obstacles while keeping a positive attitudeAbility to resolve product or service related issues by clarifying the customer's grievance and channeling those issues with Support TeamsRegular client follow-ups to ensure "Total Customer Satisfaction"Promote extended warranty and maintenance programs to existing and eligible customersEnsuring client awareness regarding the usefulness and proper operation of the Video products and services that were purchasedPartner with existing Motorola sales teams that focusing on other parts of the portfolio in the regionAbility to present products and demonstrate their usesManage manufacture representative partners, inside sales and other teams engaged in business within the provided territoryHave superior knowledge of products (software and hardware) with the ability to present and demonstrateUnderstand customer program goalsContinuous self educate with the competitive landscapeBuild 10+ year pipeline accurately and track with SalesforceSpecific Knowledge/Skills:Bachelors Degree with 1+ years of sales/public safety experience OR 3+ years of sales/public safety experienceOutside sales experience selling solutions into government organizations preferredStrong relationship development and management skillsAbility to be a strong self-starter and hunt to identify/create sales opportunitiesHigh-caliber, articulate, and motivated sales professionalExcellent communication skills (oral, written, presentation & follow up and through)Excellent negotiation skillsAbility to establish oneself as a trusted advisorKnowledge of industry trends and best practices a plusStrong abilities in Google Docs, Microsoft Suite, Salesforce and TableauHighly motivated and results-orientedPreference are candidates who reside within assigned region, work from a home office, and able to travel over 50% of the timeThis position is subject to working in high security areas governed by the US Department of Justice's "Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) Security Policy" and therefore may require successfully passing a more stringent fingerprint background check administered by Motorola Solutions Inc. customers.Target Base Salary Range: $95,000 - $110,000 USDConsistent with Motorola Solutions values and applicable law, we provide the following information to promote pay transparency and equity. Pay within this range varies and depends on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
