Catering Sales & Services Manager - Bradenton Area Convention CenterThe Catering Sales & Services Manager plays a vital leadership role in managing all aspects of catering sales, event execution, and client satisfaction at the Bradenton Area Convention Center. This individual is responsible for sourcing new business, maintaining and growing client relationships, overseeing event planning and execution, and leading the catering team to deliver exceptional service. This position works closely with internal teams and clients to exceed expectations and achieve revenue goals.COMPENSATION: The salary range for this position is $70,000 to $80,000. If both numbers are the same, that is the amount that Aramark expects to offer. Develop, manage, and maintain client relationships across corporate, convention, and social markets Source and follow up on leads; generate new business through outside sales calls and networking Respond to client inquiries and develop customized proposals and contracts Upsell and offer enhancements to maximize revenue and elevate client experiences Collaborate with event planners and clients to manage the full scope of events from planning to execution Lead catering staff in setup, service, and breakdown of events in accordance with banquet event orders (BEOs) Ensure the timely delivery of prepared food and effective event setup Provide detailed BEOs to staff and verify all client requests are met Oversee staffing, training, and development of the catering team Monitor quality assurance, service standards, and event outcomes Ensure accurate reporting of catering-related revenue, expenses, and receivables Maintain compliance with food safety, occupational, and environmental regulations Work event-based hours as needed, including nights, weekends, and holidays Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field, or equivalent professional experience 2+ years of experience in catering, event planning, hospitality, or related field Experience in a convention center, large-scale social event setting, or banquet environment preferred Demonstrated leadership and team management abilities Strong organizational and time management skills with high attention to detail Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills Proficient in menu planning, food presentation, and banquet service operations; proficiency with catering software and excel. Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Food Handler and Alcohol Service Certifications (or willingness to obtain) Ability to stand for extended periods and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
