Located in Bradenton, FL, Chick-fil-A Cortez Plaza and Chick-fil-A Manatee are run by Nathan Hoeksema, who become a Chick-fil-A Operator in 2000 at the age of 23 While working behind the Chick-fil-A counter at age 15, Nathan was captured by the company's mission and after college, felt called to pursue Chick-fil-A as his place of mission. After 11 years of operating and seeing tremendous success in his first restaurant location, Nathan was presented with the opportunity to move to Bradenton and open his current restaurant in the fall of 2013. Since opening in 2013, the team has consecutively increased store sales with a projection to be in the top 10 stores in the entire Chick-fil-A chain by the end of 2019. Now in 2023 Cortez Plaza is in the top 3 stores in the entire chain. (80 hours)· Pay rate $25 an hour.· Overtime pay at 1.5 times pay rate.· 401K matching funds after 1 year service.· Health Care Coverage credit up to $1,000.00 a month.· Uniform allowance up to $250.00.· Free food while workingKey Responsibilities:Rotate through multiple aspects of the restaurant to gain knowledge of the total operation.Initial training period (4-6 months) before launching into the director level role with oversight of all facets of the restaurant (i.e., marketing, catering, inventory, scheduling, FOH/BOH, hiring).Create a culture of service and deep care for team members and guests-leading to a remarkable experience for all who come in contact with Chick-fil-A.Mentor, coach, invest in, and build relationships with a diverse team of people to motivate and help them reach their highest potential.Develop 6-7 direct reports through one-on-one meetings, consistent reviews, and coaching.Actively taking ownership of business responsibilities (i.e., budgeting, vendor relationships).Maintain quality in food safety, cleanliness, and overall, Chick-fil-A standards.Ongoing evaluation of business needs and streamlining systems/processes for efficiency.Build a strong relationship with the Leadership Team and executive operator’s vision.
