Must Haves:
- 5+ years of experience in the field of safety
- Good knowledge of OSHA Construction and General Industry standards. Subjects include:
- Confined Space Entry, Lockout/Tagout, Hazard Communications, Bloodborne Pathogens, Ladders, Fall Protection, Machine Guarding, Lab Safety, Powered Industrial Trucks, Aerial Lifts, etc.
- Strong communication skills
- Familiarity with Microsoft PowerPoint
- Availability for limited local travel
Plusses:
- OSHA Authorized Outreach Trainer *Highly desired*
- First Aid, CPR, AED Trainer
- Spanish speaking capabilities
Day-to-Day:
- Our client is seeking a dedicated Safety Trainer to join the team and help them maintain their high standards in delivering environmental, health, and safety training services. This position requires a passionate and engaging individual with extensive knowledge of OSHA regulations, excellent communication skills, computer literacy, and a desire to educate adult learners. The individual must be able to implement and deliver a large variety of OSHA compliant training courses.
