Job Description

An international manufacturer and distributor of industrial products is seeking an Administrative Assistant. This position will support front office operations, assist with HR functions and support other divisions as needed.

Salary + Additional Benefits:
  • $25 -30 /hr
  • Health, dental, short-term & long-term disability, and life insurance
  • 401K with match

Location: Houston, TX (North)
Type of Position : Temp-to-Hire

Responsibilities:
  • Provide support to the Operations, Human Resources, and Executive departments.
  • Communicate with vendors and receive/send mail and packages.
  • Maintain company event/birthday spreadsheet and coordinate monthly birthday celebrations.
  • Keep inventory of company promotional items and safety equipment.
  • Book conference rooms and order lunches as needed.
  • Assist the human resources department with various new hire activities
  • Be back up support to Executive Assistants when needed.

Requirements:
  • 7+ years of administrative experience working with various departments.
  • Experienced in interacting with executive leadership
  • Strong MS Office skills and experience working with a desktop publishing software
  • Spanish bilingual a plus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experienced in and able to work in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
