Schedule: Hybrid (3 days in office / 2 days WFH)

Employment type: W2 renewable Contract

Duration: 1 year with the possibility for extension based on performance, skillset, work ethic, etc.

In this role, you will...

  • Support Gas Treatment Technology Managers in negotiating and concluding global technology licenses
  • Prepare commercial and technical proposals using OASE design tools (Chemical plant simulation software)
  • Perform technical/process design support, including process simulations and balance analysis
  • Participate in HAZOP reviews at customer sites and review work performed by outside contractors
  • Support clients during project commissioning and provide onsite technical support during start-up
  • Assist customers with plant optimization, technical support, and general troubleshooting


Qualifications:

  • Minimum BS in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering. Advanced education and experience in business (M.B.A., Marketing, Sales, etc.) is a plus
  • Experience (1-5 years) in manufacturing, process engineering
  • Working knowledge of chemical process simulation tools (e.g. Aspen, Promax, Protreat)
  • Strong theoretical know-how and practical experience in troubleshooting plant problems and optimizing plant performance
  • Experienced communication with technical clientele
  • Self-motivated, result-oriented, focused working style with the ability to multi-task
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills, including negotiation, influencing, presentation, reporting, and relationship-building skills for use in internal and external environments. Ability to influence and provide direction to colleagues and customers, working and interacting in a cross-cultural environment.
