Director of Distribution

In this critical role, the Director of Distribution will orchestrate operations across the distribution and manufacturing network. With unwavering focus on Safety, Quality, and Service, our ideal candidate is a proactive, results-driven leader with a proven track record in industrial management.


Health and Safety Culture:

  • Champion a proactive safety culture, collaborating for ongoing improvement.
  • Establish and promote best practices to ensure team members’ well-being.

Manufacturing Management:

  • Consistently achieve production, performance, and quality standards.
  • Lead the team toward immediate wins and long-term departmental goals.
  • Drive planning, material flow, and process improvement initiatives.

Distribution Leadership:

  • Optimize product flow with an efficiency and safety mindset.
  • Master the logistics dance—efficiency? Check. Safety? Double-check.

Quality Oversight:

  • Ensure our products exceed established standards.
  • Regular inspections and audits? You’ve got this.
  • Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team to resolve issues.

Operational Planning and Analysis:

  • Develop and execute departmental strategies aligned with organizational goals.
  • Regularly analyze production and functions for effectiveness.

Management and Collaboration:

  • Utilize effective management methodologies to address workforce challenges.
  • Collaborate across departments for performance and productivity gains.

Technology and Innovation:

  • Assist with long-range goals, expansion efforts, and advanced tech implementation.

Engagement and Team Development:

  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement within manufacturing and distribution.
  • Enhance employee satisfaction, motivation, and retention.

Reporting and Communication:

  • Deliver progress and production reports to executive team members.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5+ years of experience
  • Proven leadership ability with strong organizational and managerial skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products and ERP systems.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
