Insight Global is looking for a Deputy Building Official to sit onsite in Bloomfield, CT. This person will be in a supervisory role and responsible for plan reviews and laying out the workload to the team each day. This includes managing calls coming in and logging the inspections for the day. This person will assign the Assistant Building Officials to their inspection assignments which include both commercial and residential spaces. The main responsibilities are to ensure the safe construction and occupancy of structures, and that they comply with ordinances, statutes and regulations according to the CT State Building Code. This person needs to have strong organization and communication skills to maintain and improve efficiency and effectiveness of the team.
