Position Overview:
As a Senior Business Systems Analyst specializing in Manufacturing and Supply Chain Forecast Planning, you will be responsible for implementing and supporting key Manufacturing and Supply Chain applications. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the health of core applications and their integrations with various systems. You will lead efforts to define and deliver new features, support application functionality, and drive continuous improvement in business processes.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Utilize Agile Scrum methodology to identify and address critical functionality or performance gaps by translating high-level information into epics and user stories.
- Implement and support applications related to Manufacturing and Supply Chain, including Inventory, BOM, WIP, ASCP, MRP, Engineering, Planning, and Purchasing.
- Collaborate with manufacturing, engineering, and supply chain teams to understand their needs and prioritize stories in the Jira system.
- Develop Solution Designs and configure ERP modules to meet business requirements.
- Act as the liaison between business partners, stakeholders, and development resources, ensuring effective integration with other business-critical systems.
- Understand challenges associated with translating business requirements into technical solutions across web and mobile platforms.
- Prepare detailed documentation, including user stories, training materials, and configuration documents, ensuring compliance with applicable regulatory standards.
- Work with the Quality Compliance team to maintain system compliance with relevant regulations and develop operational procedures and work instructions.
- Focus on delivering solutions that meet business needs, rather than strictly adhering to initial requests.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst with expertise in Manufacturing and Supply Chain applications.
- Significant experience in a discrete manufacturing environment.
- Proven track record with full-life cycle implementations.
- Expertise in configuring Inventory, BOM, WIP, ASCP, MRP, Engineering, Planning, and Purchasing modules.
- Experience integrating PLM systems with ERP (PLM experience is a plus).
- Proficiency in writing epics and user stories, basic SQL queries, and managing user acceptance testing.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and Scrum development.
- Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, and experience in developing process flows with Microsoft Visio.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with various business teams.
- Experience managing multiple projects and tasks, meeting deadlines, and working under pressure.
- Excellent presentation, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Team-oriented with a positive attitude and willingness to support team members.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Atlassian Jira & Confluence.
- Experience creating and supporting integrations with Rapid Response.
- Knowledge of SOX-audited environments and FDA regulatory processes.
- Understanding of computer system validation requirements.
- Ability to resolve conflicts, analyze consolidated information, and lead meetings with stakeholders.
- Effective communication skills across all organizational levels.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field preferred. Equivalent demonstrated experience will also be considered.
