Job Description:

  • The position of HVAC Technician is critical to Install maintain and repair heating ventilation and cooling units for both commercial and residential customers.
  • Diagnose and repair of electronic mechanical and electrical components.



Responsibilities:

  • General duties 100%
  • Perform residential and commercial service calls independently with high accuracy.
  • Perform test & fire off procedures of AC/Heat pumps AHUs RTUs ERVs ventilation equipment accurately & efficiently.
  • Perform final punch and quality check of mechanical rooms AC/Heat pumps AHUs RTUs ERVs ventilation equipment.
  • Appropriately identify problematic calls and utilize HVAC Project Manager / Superintendent as needed for efficient time and cost management strategies.
  • Communicate with the Project Manager / HVAC Project Manager at the beginning and end of every day / service call and any schedule changes throughout the day ensuring team productivity is being observed.
  • Coordinate materials parts and equipment needed through Project Managers.
  • Understand and display compliance with Clients Quality Standards and Best practices.
  • Ensure the service vehicle provided will be clean and well maintained with the appropriate parts stocked and well organized ensuring that parts used will be tracked daily.
  • Prompt submission of accurate and legible service invoices and time sheets.
  • Will be available for OOT ignments as required.

  • A high school diploma or GED is required
  • 4 years of experience preferred
  • EPA certification required
  • NATE certification preferred but not required at this time



Working Conditions:

  • Exposed to outdoor weather conditions including rain humidity snow wind cold and heat.
  • Willing and able to work on out of town/out of state projects as needed
  • Capable and willing to wear jobsite specific personal protective equipment and able to lift at least 50 lbs.
  • Must be comfortable working in the following environments: outdoor weather conditions very loud wet or humid conditions working near mechanical parts working in high precarious places working in awkward and/or confining workspaces possible inhalation of fumes or airborne particles risk of electrical shock and vibrations. *Please note these are possible occurrences not necessarily an everyday event.
