Seeking a self-motivated Recruiting Assistant to join a professional and energetic HR team in Jackson, MS. This position is for someone with excellent communication skills who has intermediate to proficient experience with Microsoft Office Suite, is quick to learn new computer skills and is eager to become a full-fledged Recruiter within 4-6 months. Duties & Responsibilities:
- Interviewing Potential Candidates: Conduct initial screening interviews to assess candidate qualifications, industry experience, and what they are seeking in a career.
- Onboarding: Assist in the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed.
- Administrative Support: Maintain and update the applicant tracking system. Prepare and manage correspondence, reports, and documents.
- Multifunctional Role: Assist with other office tasks as needed, showcasing adaptability in a small office environment.
Learning and Development:
- Participate in training sessions to develop recruitment skills.
- Take the initiative to learn about the industry and stay updated on recruitment best practices.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Computer Literacy: Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities. Must have a strong ability to take detailed and accurate notes.
- Adaptability: Ability to handle multiple tasks and switch roles as needed.

- Motivation: A self-starter with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
