Social Content Strategist Requirements:

  • 4+ years of experience in video production and content management, ideally in a content marketing, content creator or branded content environment at agencies, studios, or in-house.
  • A portfolio that shows strong conceptual and technical short form video skills applied across a range of deliverables. You are ready to create on iPhone and/or other mediums.
  • Experienced providing creative partnership to creators, influencers, and video production vendors, and designers pre through post-production.
  • Socially led thinker, doer, and creator that’s obsessed with the outdoors and its role in the cultural zeitgeist.
  • Fluent with social content creation software, Figma, and project management tools like Asana.
  • This position will require working outside of normal office hours to coordinate live content on evenings, weekends, and holidays.



Social Content Strategist Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Social, Content Marketing, Editorial, Creative, and Influencer teams to ideate, pitch, execute social channel-specific content that communicates brand vision and social content strategy across Meta, TikTok, YouTube, and more. Ensure that all content aligns with brand guidelines, social content frameworks, and brand voice and tone to build strong brand identity on social media.
  • Monitor industry trends and creative best practices, and channel performance to maintain and proactively evolve a competitive library of new assets for agile content and campaign extensions.
  • Potentially attend brand campaign shoots & brand activations, including support in content capture that ladders up to the social content strategy - some travel will be required.
  • Source and manage content production with external vendors to create social-first content complementary to internal resources, inclusive of video, still and multi-media graphics.
  • Contribute to the evolution of our brand social creative by exploring unique, social first ideas, production processes, approaches, methods, and solutions.
