For almost four decades, our Geothermal Heat Pumps, Water Source Heat Pumps, and Heat Recovery Chillers have been reducing energy usage consumption and increasing comfort in buildings around the world.Job SummaryReporting to the Vice President of Commercial Sales & Marketing, the Director will lead and oversee the Commercial Rep Network strategy, which serves the NA market in HVAC and DHW systems. This includes strategic sales leadership in support of key company initiatives and sales team effectiveness in obtaining sales and profitability goals. This role requires excellent leadership, providing coaching and mentorship to a team of sales professionals. This position will ensure our customers experience world-class performance in sales, service, new product introductions and product technology. This includes maintaining positive relationships with our customer partners, appropriate industry associations and WaterFurnace associates. This is a significant leadership role serving a major initiative to continue market growth for WaterFurnace. This individual will also drive our strategic initiatives into new markets through organic or acquisition growth. This role is a key member of the Commercial Business Strategy Team.Key ResponsibilitiesIdentify market potential to increase sales and market share.Meet or exceed annual sales and profitability goals.Provide strategic leadership and coaching to improve the sales team's effectiveness through continuous improvement and sales talent development.Increase customer mindshare through collaboration with product marketing regarding networking, education, and channel development activities.Support the Region Managers with tools to support their monitoring and development of existing and new manufacturers reps.Provide leadership and coaching to cross functional team members to better serve the commercial customers.Develop a network of strategic trade allies and market influencers in support of market development activities.Create annual sales budgets and contribute to market and product strategies.QualificationsStrong presentation, communication and leadership skills10 years technical sales team leadership and/or market development experience with proven sales growth track record.Demonstrated ability to engage at all levels of an organization(internal/external)Self-motivated with ability to manage multiple initiatives in a fast-paced environment.Excellent problem solving and decision-making skills.Able to travel as required.BA/BS in technical or business-related field of study, or equivalent experiencePlease note that this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
