The Virginia Veterinary Center in Fredericksburg, VA is hiring a full- time Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our outstanding team We offer a $6,000 sign on bonus for swing shift LVT's

Anticipated Schedule:

  • Flexible schedule 1pm - 1am OR 12pm - 12am OR 3pm - 3am (days will vary and are based on the needs of the hospital)
  • Three 12-hour shifts
  • Two 12-hour on call shifts per month
  • Weekend shifts required

Compensation:

  • Competitive compensation which is based on experience & skill level. $30-35/ hr.

About You:

  • Credentialed veterinary technician with strong technical skills (to include placing IV catheters, venipuncture, administering premedication, anesthesia induction & monitoring, patient preparation, surgical nursing, and perioperative nursing care, radiographs, etc.)
  • You can easily adapt to the different needs of each patient and are able to remain composed during stressful and emotional situations.
  • You are looking for a career and are passionate about learning and growing in the industry and caring for animals.
