Responsibilities of the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN):
  • Provide daily personal care for residents, including grooming, bathing, dressing, and oral care
  • Administer medications and document their effects
  • Assist with resident comfort and wellbeing
  • Perform various medical tasks such as injections, enemas, sample collection, and catheter monitoring
  • Conduct vital sign checks and resident weighins as directed
  • Assist in staff training and orientation when needed
  • Handle any special projects and duties as assigned
Requirements of the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN):
  • Current state license as a Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse
  • Active CPR certification
  • Strong technical, assessment, and documentation abilities
  • Excellent analytical and problemssolving skills
  • Capability to perform physical tasks, including lifting over 50 pounds and standing/walking for extended periods
