Sr. Desktop Support Technician

Job Summary:
We are seeking a Sr. Desktop Support Technician to provide advanced-level application support to our employees. In this role, you will maintain personal computers and related hardware and assist Network Engineers with the installation of software and hardware.
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform advanced-level computer system maintenance, repairs, and installations.
- Monitor and control computer equipment by operating the central console or an online monitor.
- Utilize operating systems utilities to monitor hardware systems.
- Identify and report problems within the department, communicate them to the supervisor, and actively participate in resolution methods.
- Analyze existing methods and develop alternatives to enhance operational and production efficiency.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Education and Work Experience:
- High School Education/GED or equivalent: Preferred
- Associate’s/Technical Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience: Preferred
- Two years of technical experience: Preferred
Licenses/Certifications:
- Dell certification: Preferred
- Microsoft Technology Associate (MTA) - Infrastructure and Desktop: Preferred
- CompTIA Certifications: Preferred
