Job Description: Product Development Coordinator 

Location: Apex, North Carolina


Role and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and create apparel designs, piece types, original patterns and trend boards for seasonal collections
  • Follow trends and interpret them for our target customer
  • Assist the director of apparel and sourcing in all aspects of product development
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, production, marketing, and sales, to ensure seamless product development & launch process
  • Create costing tech packs as requested to assist factories in accurate pricing
  • Monitor market trends and conduct regular research to identify new product opportunities and stay ahead of industry shifts.
  • Support the procurement of materials and components required for production as directed
  • Assist in preparing product launch materials, including product descriptions, marketing collateral, and presentations as directed
  • Collaborate with the sales team to provide product knowledge and support in promoting products to clients and customers
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and effectiveness within the product development and coordination process.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Design, Fashion Merchandising, Textile management or related field
  • Proficient in all adobe design suites
  • Previous experience (1-3 years) in product coordination, product management, or related roles within the fashion or lifestyle industry is a plus
  • Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and product management software.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Passion for fashion, lifestyle trends, and staying informed about industry developments.
  • Knowledge of materials, textiles, and production processes in the apparel and accessories industry
