OMEC Smart Card is seeking a skilled Machine Engineer with a strong background in automated equipment repair and maintenance to join our dynamic team. This role requires an engineer who is hands-on with machinery, capable of repairing, assembling, and maintaining equipment to ensure optimal performance. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in troubleshooting and optimizing automated systems, with a deep understanding of mechanical systems, electrical systems, and PLC programming. This position is especially suited for someone who can seamlessly collaborate with our international teams, ensuring smooth operations across borders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Automated Equipment Maintenance: Perform regular maintenance on automated equipment, ensuring adherence to maintenance plans and minimizing downtime.
- Troubleshooting & Repair: Diagnose root causes of equipment issues and implement timely repair solutions to maintain operational efficiency.
- Hands-On Mechanical Work: Engage directly with machinery, including assembling, disassembling, and repairing mechanical parts and systems.
- Machine Assembly: Put together mechanical components and ensure all parts function seamlessly within the automated systems.
- Electrical Systems & PLC Programming: Utilize knowledge of electrical systems and PLC programming to troubleshoot and optimize automated processes.
- Cross-Team Collaboration: Work closely with international teams to ensure smooth operations across borders, maintaining effective communication and collaboration.
- Process Improvement: Continuously seek opportunities to enhance system performance and implement process improvements.
Required Qualifications:
Educational Background: Associate degree, Vocational School certification, or higher in a technical field related to engineering or automation.
Experience: Over 3 years of experience in machine repair and maintenance, particularly in automated systems.
Mechanical Engineering Skills: Strong foundation in mechanical engineering, with hands-on experience in machinery repair, assembly, and diagnosing equipment issues.
Automation and Technical Skills: Proficiency in maintaining and troubleshooting automated systems, with a solid understanding of electrical systems, PLC programming, and performing maintenance tasks.
Problem-Solving: Ability to diagnose and resolve complex mechanical and electrical issues.
Collaboration: Comfortable working with international teams, with a focus on effective communication, understanding cultural differences, and teamwork.
Commitment: A strong sense of responsibility, teamwork, and dedication to safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Higher Education: College degree or higher in mechanical engineering, automation, or related fields.
- Advanced Experience: Over 5 years of experience in machine repair and maintenance, with experience in designing, assembling, and overhauling process equipment.
- Specialized Knowledge: Experience with PLC programming, particularly Siemens PLCs, and a deep understanding of automated manufacturing systems.
- Language Skills: Proficiency in Mandarin or experience working in a Chinese business environment is a significant advantage.
