Responsibilities

EnLink Midstream is seeking an experienced Pipeline Integrity Engineer to join our team and focus on the implementation of the MEGA Rule regulations mandated by PHMSA (Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration). This role is critical in ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and enhancing the safety and reliability of our pipeline infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pipeline integrity management, project management skills, and a thorough understanding of regulatory standards in the oil and gas industry.

  • Lead the annual reporting process to PHMSA, ensuring accurate and timely submissions.
  • Conduct MAOP (Maximum Allowable Operating Pressure) TVC (Traceable, Verifiable, and Complete) gap analysis and integrate findings into GIS (Geographic Information System), including thorough document research.
  • Project manage TVC activities and oversee the installation of new assets to comply with MEGA Rule requirements.
  • Develop and manage budgets and schedules for MEGA Rule implementation initiatives, ensuring alignment with the 2028 compliance deadline.
  • Perform gap analysis to identify areas of non-compliance with MEGA Rule requirements and develop closure strategies.
  • Utilize engineering principles and industry best practices to ensure the integrity and reliability of EnLink Midstream‘s pipeline systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Operations, and Regulatory Affairs to implement MEGA Rule requirements effectively.
  • Provide technical guidance on pipeline design, operation, maintenance, and integrity management practices.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to MEGA Rule compliance activities.
  • Prepare detailed reports and presentations for internal stakeholders and regulatory agencies.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains in MEGA Rule compliance activities.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory changes related to pipeline integrity management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor‘s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
  • Professional Engineering (PE) license or equivalent certification is a plus.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in pipeline integrity management, with a focus on regulatory compliance in the oil and gas industry.
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and present technical information clearly and concisely.
