Animal Care Facilities SupervisorSupervise and coordinate activities of staff engaged in the operation and maintenance of animal care facilities according to standards set forth by the Guide for the Care and Use of Laboratory Animals to achieve and/or maintain full accreditation status for Seattle Children's Research Institute with the Association for Assessment and Accreditation of Laboratory Animal Care International.Required Education/Experience: - High school diploma or equivalent experience. - Minimum of five (5) years' experience as an Animal Technician, including experience in rodent colony production techniques and maintenance, and experience designing and implementing standard operating procedures. - An understanding of Continuous Process Improvement (CPI), including LEAN concepts. - AALAS ALAT, LAT, LATG certifications (one or more).Required Credentials: - N/A.Preferred: - CMAR Certification. - Experience training and supervising support staff. - Experience in basic materials management processes (i.e., ordering, receiving and inventory control).Compensation Range $80,715.00 - $121,073.00 per year. This compensation range was calculated based on full-time employment (2080 hours worked per calendar year).
