Senior Associate, Private Credit Specialist

Responsibilities:

• Serve as a key resource for strategy/product specific information.

o Partner closely with the Director of the PE&C Specialist team, and other functional areas (ex. Business Development and Investor Relations) to manage Private Credit data and materials.

o Develop a detailed understanding of the product, asset classes, including our sustainability practices and initiatives, and our competitive advantages of the platform.

o Contribute to all marketing materials relevant to fundraising.

• Create presentations and other materials used in meetings and help identify and manage the timing for the creation of new collateral.

o Help organize, update and distribute collateral internally and externally, ensuring alignment and consistency of messaging across multiple products and pieces of content.

o Manage project plans to ensure timely completion of initiatives.

• Support various aspects of the PE&C Business Development team’s prospect and investor relations efforts.

o Provide specialist content including RFPs, questionnaires, databases, and any other prospect or client inquiries. Manage and update these responses in Q&A repository.

o Participate in the updating of marketing materials, including coordination with reporting and valuation teams on updating track record and other information.

o Assist with the organization and preparation for events including the annual meeting and conferences.

• Assist with the management of prospect and client data rooms, tracking of prospect and client information in Salesforce and requests with members of the investment, legal, compliance and accounting teams.

• Support special projects and ad-hoc requests relating to client service, marketing, record keeping, compliance, and other such areas that may arise over time.

• Collaborate and manage relationships with product development, portfolio management, operations, client service, legal and compliance teams and marketing among others, as well as external vendors to ensure work is completed timely and to the highest standards.

• Enhance operational processes to improve efficiency in facilitating responses and compliance approvals for external materials.

Education, Experience & Skills/Competencies:

• Bachelor’s degree required. Preferably in business, finance, or related discipline.

• Knowledge of and genuine interest in Private Markets and investment management.

• A firm grasp of investment strategy and financial analysis is highly desirable.

• 5-8+ years of relevant work experience, with preference for direct client or prospect service and marketing support responsibility.

• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.

• Word, PowerPoint and Excel skills are required. Experience with Salesforce, Qvidian and Seismic experience is preferred.

• Excellent organizational and time management skills; ability to manage multiple priorities from multiple stakeholders and balancing between day-to-day responsibilities and ad-hoc requests with short turnarounds.

• Experience engaging in the RFP questionnaire response process. Comfortable editing written pieces for readability, style and grammar.

• Proactive and takes initiative; ability to learn quickly and identify and implement enhancements to existing processes.

• Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment. Excellent professionalism, interpersonal and relationship building skills (e.g., working with senior leadership).

Brief Overview:


This role is within the Private Markets Group.

This person will be focused on private credit strategies, within the private market. Strategies geared towards various assets classes. This person will be focused on private credit, specifically.

The main objective and goal of this team is to support fundraising initiatives.

This person will be:


  • Heavily involved in creating and maintaining marketing materials.
  • Helping with inbound sales requests, such as RFP, RFI’s, DDQs.
  • When prospects and clients are requesting information about products, this person would be heavily involved with answering those questions.
  • Working directly with investment, sales, and distribution teams to work on customized materials and presentations.
  • Help with telling the story of our firm, our investment team, and our products.


Looking For:

  • Familiar with private credit, private equity, or private markets as a whole
  • This is a very “Middle Office” type of role. Work with different groups on different things.
  • This is not an entry level role.
  • Experienced and comfortable leading projects and initiatives.
