Join our team at Covenant Hosp Plainview (Methodist Hosp Plainview). As a Providence caregiver, you’ll apply your specialized training to deliver world-class health with human connection and make a difference every day through your extraordinary care.

Administers nursing care to patients within an assigned unit. Supervises non-licensed nursing personnel. Under the direct supervision of a registered nurse.

Please note the following important details regarding this role:

  • This is an onsite role that will report into the hospital daily, as scheduled
  • Work Status Available: Full Time
  • Shifts Available: Variable
  • Work Schedule Includes both: Weekends and Weekdays
  • Hiring Bonus: Providence is offering up to a $5,000 Hiring Bonus for eligible candidates who meet all conditions for payment - this is in addition to the fantastic benefits and compensation package offered by Providence that begin on your first day of employment

Required Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited licensed vocational school of nursing
  • Heart Failure Clinic (HC6):
  • Annual education on current concepts in management of Heart Failure
  • Upon Hire: Texas Licensed Vocational Nurse
  • Upon Hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
  • Within 90 days of hire: National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale Certificate - NIH Stroke Scale Training Course
  • 1+ years of Cardiac Cath Lab Holding Area:
  1. Experience as an LVN in a Critical Care area
