Position Overview:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Certified Flight Instructor (CFI) to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to safety, a deep understanding of aviation, and a desire to help shape the next generation of pilots. As a CFI at Parrillo Air Services, you will play a critical role in providing flight instruction to students, helping them achieve their goals in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide flight instruction to students pursuing various pilot certificates and ratings, ensuring compliance with FAA regulations.
  • Conduct ground school sessions and prepare students for written exams.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and flight hours.
  • Emphasize the importance of real-world flight experience, contributing to our students' success in obtaining their Restricted ATP.
  • Promote a culture of safety, professionalism, and excellence in all training activities.
  • Be available for afternoon training sessions to accommodate student schedules.
  • Preference given to instructors with Part 61 experience, aligning with our flexible and personalized training approach.

Qualifications:

  • Current FAA Certified Flight Instructor (CFI) certificate.
  • Instrument Instructor (CFII) ratings are preferred, but not required.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Passion for teaching and mentoring the next generation of pilots.
  • Commitment to upholding the highest standards of safety and professionalism.
  • Afternoon availability is required to meet the needs of our students.
  • Part 61 experience is preferred.
