Our Fortune 100 Health Insurance client is hiring a strong React Native Engineer for their mobile platform team.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain high quality mobile software focused on reuse and scale.
  • Extend and develop framework that accelerates mobile app delivery.
  • Develop enterprise mobile coded UI component and pattern libraries.
  • Define 3rd party system integration patterns and implement appropriate utilities.
  • Develop tools and practices that enable external delivery self-service.
  • Comfortable contributing to the React Web software.
  • Write clean, secure, efficient, and modular code.
  • Act as a subject matter expert and platform evangelist across the enterprise.


Required Experience / Qualifications:

  • Expertise with React Native, Context API, React Hooks, and React Navigation, Typescript
  • Proficiency with React, and browser based application concerns
  • Extensive experience with mobile platforms and reusable frameworks, implementation of native bridges.
  • Familiarity with RESTful Application Programming Interfaces to connect mobile applications to back-end services.
  • Experience with a few of the following technologies: Nodejs, Java/Kotlin, Objective-C/Swift, Vite/Webpack.


Desired Experience / Qualifications:

  • Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning.
  • Experience with continuous integration.
  • Understanding push notifications, cloud messaging application programming interfaces.
  • Knowledge of Google’s / Apple’s design principles and application interface guidelines.
  • 5+ years of proven experience in React Native engineering
  • 7+ years of proven React experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or software engineering.



Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be taken into account when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting is a reflection of a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided pay range.


W2 employees of Eliassen Group who are regularly scheduled to work 30 or more hours per week are eligible for the following benefits: medical (choice of 3 plans), dental, vision, pre-tax accounts, other voluntary benefits including life and disability insurance, 401(k) with match, and sick time if required by law in the worked-in state/locality.
