Our client was founded over 10 years ago to help small and medium-sized businesses with the rising costs of employee health benefits. They specialize in financing innovations that reduce risks in self-insurance and deliver significant savings with an ecosystem of partners and cost-control solutions.

Position Summary

Under the direction of the Senior Vice President (SVP), the Regional Vice President (RVP) will be responsible for identifying and securing new business. The ideal candidate is a proactive, confident, self-starter who thrives in competitive situations and is determined to exceed targeted goals.


Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, educate, and develop strong consultant-partner relationships
  • Assist consultants with the identification and education of good prospective employers
  • Mastery of cost containment programs and their application for consultants and prospective employers
  • Develop strong relationships with members of the internal underwriting, market development, and marketing teams
  • Drive the understanding of large and complex risk management programs
  • Create and execute a regional sales plan to support sales goals
  • Implement sales techniques focused on the full sales lifecycle from lead generation to closing


Skills And Experience

  • 5+ years of recent experience selling self-funded solutions with strong Insurance Broker relationships
  • 5+ years of recent experience in a new business development role
  • Advanced knowledge of the Chicago insurance market
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Must live within 60 miles of Chicago
