The role is being offered as onsite in the Tampa, FL area, and will offer a competitive base salary ranging from $120k-$200k.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop Procurement strategies in alignment with company objectives.
  • Purchase direct materials and negotiate with vendors to get best rates.
  • Lead cross-functional teams in executing strategic initiatives across various markets.
  • Conduct RFPs/RFIs, vendor sourcing, and negotiations to optimize supplier relationships.
  • Create and Manage POs.
  • Develop material and operational strategies through our vendor base to drive efficiency and quality.
  • Ensure procurement processes adhere to regulatory standards and company policies.


Requirements:

  • 5-10+ years of experience in Procurement in Construction/Building Materials industry.
  • Proven track record of managing direct categories with annual spends exceeding $50 million.
  • Ability to handle purchasing projects of large volume.
  • Expertise in market analysis, vendor evaluation, and negotiation tactics.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make strategic decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively across departments.
  • Proficiency in relevant software and tools for procurement and supply chain management.
