We are seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for our Huntington, IN Plant

Position Summary:

Under the direction of the Maintenance Manager, or other appropriate staff, the Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for coordinating and supervising the proper maintenance and service functions for the Huntington, IN facility. This job requires strong organizational skills and effective team management.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Ensure all maintenance activities are appropriately carried out.
  • Maintain and uphold all quality standards of the organization.
  • Record all maintenance and service activities conducted and maintain cycle time.
  • Evaluate team performance.
  • Interact with other departments when necessary to ensure proper system function.
  • Comply with all safety standards and regulations.
  • Order materials when required.
  • File purchase orders and other documentation as necessary.
  • Delegate work to subordinates when necessary to ensure efficiency and timely completion of all tasks.
  • Complete necessary documentation and file appropriately.

Qualifications - External

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • At least eight years of maintenance experience with two years as a supervisor.
  • HS diploma or GED equivalent. Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or Management preferred
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office - specifically MS Word and Excel.
  • Flexible Schedule and ability to work weekends or overtime when needed.
  • Ability to troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic equipment issues.
  • Thorough knowledge of occupational hazards and corresponding safety precautions necessary for the safe performance of all duties.
  • Ability to recognize mechanical malfunctions and equipment failures.
