Job Summary

Pathfinder Services is seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair activities across all company buildings and homes. This role involves managing a team of Property Maintenance Technicians, ensuring that all work is completed efficiently and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate building systems to determine necessary maintenance or repairs
  • Develop maintenance procedures and schedules
  • Facilitate vehicle maintenance as needed
  • Ensure that all maintenance and repair work is executed correctly and in a timely manner
  • Assist with budget estimates and project costs
  • Monitor inventory of materials and equipment
  • Work closely with vendors to maintain strong relationships
  • Collaborate with the Director of Facilities and Property Management to review and update the organization's facilities plan
  • Assist with the preparation of the yearly facilities management budget as well as special budgets for future building and remodeling projects
Requirements
  • Minimum of a high school diploma/GED
  • At least 5 years of maintenance experience required
  • Ability to understand new issues quickly and make informed decisions
  • Ability to inspire confidence and create trust
  • Ability to work under pressure, plan personal workload effectively, and delegate
  • Valid driver's license, insured vehicle, and safe driving record
  • Ability to speak, hear, and read the English language
  • Must be able to travel to all properties and facilities to diagnose building issues and plan repairs or maintenance
  • Must be physically able to perform repairs when needed
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time
