Responsibilities:

  • Provide support for ongoing environmental air compliance by ensuring controls, monitoring, record keeping, and reporting requirements are satisfied.
  • Develop and implement compliance systems/tools.
  • Responsible for continuous emissions monitoring (CEMS), and emissions source testing (stack testing and RATA testing).
  • Responsible for MACT compliance, and other air quality compliance reporting.
  • Timely preparation and submission of reports, this may require coordination with other departments and group leads.
  • Maintains internal relationships with facility personnel and establishes external relationships with regulatory representatives.
  • Coordinate projects with agencies, consulting firms, and contractors.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree (B.S.) in Engineering or Science is required (Chemical Engineering preferred).
  • Proficiency with data handling tools, data historian, process variables, and calculations.
  • A minimum of ten years of relevant environmental expreince in the petrochemical, refining, or chemical industry.
  • Experience with air regulations, (Title V, PSD, NSR, NESHAP, MACT, etc.).
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret process data, general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations is required.
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals is required.
  • Proficiency with basic computerized office systems such as Microsoft Word and Excel is required.
  • Position has multi-site responsibilities and has rotational on-call responsibilities/once every 6-7 weeks.
