We’re looking for a highly skilled, enthusiastic Local Market Manager to coordinate and execute marketing events, direct marketing tactics and build relationships with the local communities for commercial and residential marketing in our Phoenix and San Diego area markets.


This is a fast paced and fun position, where it’s critical to be a self-starter with a growth mindset and must be organized, detail oriented and mindful of deadlines with excellent verbal and written communication skills. The candidate will support and create the marketing collateral needs of all departments. This position is responsible for organizing events and will actively contribute to our growth strategy. Must have design and event management experience. Social media experience is helpful.


Responsibilities


  • Communicate marketing initiatives with appropriate leaders, staff and sales channels.
  • Source, manage and execute events in the community
  • Organize segmented direct mail campaigns
  • Copy and graphic design for marketing collateral and print ads
  • Manage marketing collateral inventory for all departments
  • Manage all promotional marketing inventory
  • Project management of marketing tactics for market expansion in California and Arizona
  • Track and report marketing spend according to budget
  • Support community relationships
  • Serve as a champion of the Wyyerd FIBER brand and culture both internally and externally
  • Adhere to deadlines
  • Other duties as assigned


Experience/Qualifications


  • Five + years work experience in a marketing role
  • Direct mail or project management experience
  • Graphic design skills to create marketing collateral and print ads
  • Social media experience is a plus
  • Event management experience for residential and commercial
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Highly organized and self-starter
  • Ability to adapt to a changing environment
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize and manage time effectively
  • Preference given to individuals living in close proximity to our office
