RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Regulatory Analysis – Understand regulatory requirements (air) and analyze data (Power BI) for permitting and compliance needs.
  • Regulatory Analysis – complete regulatory analyses to determine how a rule applies to new and modified oil and gas facilities.
  • Experience with emissions validation/emissions compliance, Continuous Emission Monitoring Systems (CEMS).
  • Collaborate directly with engineering, operations, and commercial to deliver business objectives.
  • Communicate effectively to different levels of company on permitting and regulatory requirements.
  • Communicate effectively with outside organizations on permitting objectives and basis.
  • Engage and manage consultants on air permitting projects, as needed.
  • Provide assistance as an air permitting SME in compliance audits and resolving issues concerning environmental compliance, as needed.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of existing and proposed regulations that affect the oil and gas operations through training classes, lunch and learn, and conference attendance.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree is required.
  • B.S. in Engineering, Environmental Science, or related degree program, such as Chemistry, is preferred.
  • Power BI experience.
  • 3+ years of air permitting experience or 5+ years of environmental compliance experience.
  • General understanding of state and federal regulations that impact the oil and gas industry.
  • Emissions validation/emissions compliance experience, CEMS, a plus.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to organize and work self-sufficiently given direction and resources.
  • Intermediate level desktop computer skills using Microsoft Office – Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint.
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis for anyone other than your current employer.
  • Physical ability to work in the plant site and accompany regulators on plant tours.
