Description:

Our client is looking for a highly experienced Full stack Engineer with expertise in cloud engineering, data engineering, and data warehousing, particularly within the AWS and google cloud ecosystem. Success in designing and implementing scalable cloud solutions, data pipelines, optimizing data architectures, and delivering high-quality analytics solutions. Proficient at collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive business insights and data-driven decision-making. Skilled in automating processes, and ensuring high availability and security in cloud environments.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain performant functions in Python and Java to support our data platform's day-to-day activities.
  • Provide support for existing Golang functions, enhancing them as necessary to meet platform needs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and implement data pipelines, ensuring seamless data flow and processing.
  • Work with AWS services, including but not limited to Glue, Redshift, and Pyspark, to build and maintain data connectors and pipelines.
  • Optimize and troubleshoot data infrastructure to ensure high performance and reliability.
  • Contribute to the overall architecture and design of our data platform, leveraging your experience in data warehouses and data analytics.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and best practices in full stack development, particularly in the context of data platforms.


Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of overall development experience, with a strong focus on Java and Python.
  • Working knowledge of Golang with experience in supporting and enhancing existing functions.
  • Proven experience with data and analytics platforms, including data pipeline development and maintenance.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS services, particularly Glue, Redshift, and Pyspark.
  • Familiarity with data infrastructure and data warehousing concepts.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a data-centric environment, particularly within data platforms or analytics teams.
  • Prior experience in building or maintaining data connectors.
