About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Software Engineer to join our team at Capital One. As a Full Stack Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, implementing, and supporting technical solutions in full-stack development tools and technologies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with Agile teams to design and develop robust cloud-based solutions that drive powerful experiences for our customers.
  • Utilize programming languages like JavaScript, Java, HTML/CSS, TypeScript, SQL, Python, and Go, as well as Open Source RDBMS and NoSQL databases, Container Orchestration services, and AWS tools and services.
  • Participate in internal and external technology communities, mentor other members of the engineering community, and stay up-to-date with the latest tech trends.
  • Work closely with digital product managers to deliver solutions that meet the needs of our customers.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in software engineering.
  • Strong understanding of cloud-based technologies and full-stack development.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in at least one of the following: JavaScript, Java, TypeScript, SQL, Python, or Go.
  • 1+ years of experience with AWS, GCP, Microsoft Azure, or another cloud service.
  • 3+ years of experience in open source frameworks.
  • 2+ years of experience in Agile practices.
